It’ll be just a minor humiliation. Obviously, Mr. Perfect will turn me down flat. One look at his charcoal suit and dazzlingly white designer shirt tells me he’s the type to go for super-skinny, high maintenance girls. But that’s fine because he’s not my type either. Too smooth. Plus, I’m totally invested in the project of winning my ex back to care either way.

But to my astonishment Mr Perfect, who turns out to be an American in London, doesn’t turn me down flat.
