I didn't find this story as enjoyable as others I've recently read. In fact, I couldn't finish it, because it was SO long-winded, too wordy and had way too many views from way too many characters. While I like intrigue, there's such a thing as TOO much of it. Why was there so much angst all the time? Hardly any pleasure to be gotten from it, sad to say.
