It was meant to be a game to get revenge. He was the one that was supposed to feel the pain of loss.
Why did he have to look so good?
I see him and I lose the will to resist. Time apart has done nothing to quell that desire in me to be with him again.
Never has there been a man in my life that took my breath away. The first part of my plan didn’t go the way I expected.
This time things will be strictly platonic.
I mean it …this is not going to happen again.
Who am I kidding? One-touch is enough to bring me to my knees.
The accidents concern me with first the trip down the stairs. What’s next?
Why do I get this feeling of impending doom?
He’s living under my roof. I have no place to hide. It wasn’t the best idea to have him this close.
When will I learn that if you play with fire…you might get burned?

Very short but not worth the trouble. The story opens and carries on for the first 2 chapters as if you just started the middle of a book and you all ready know what's going on. I honestly thought there was an error and the first few chapters got cut off. It's chapter 3 before we get an sort of meager exposition of what's going on. The plot is standard he hurt her in high school so now she's playing with him, weird details shoehorned in rather than building the characters. The real crime here is the dialogue---strange, unnatural, overly verbose dialogue that does not sound how any one speaks. It's as if she wanted to keep the story so short that, rather than give background or build the characters, they either outright state everything in a very unnatural manner or just leaves no context at all.
