Its so sad. She occasionally writes so well, Ransom is a personal favorite of mine. Creative and omg, funny. On par with Ludwig's Vandalar series.
Read it but it wasnt good. Nothing about these characters I liked. The FMC was an awful person. There was something so off about how this story was written.
Putting it nicely, this is weak writing. She didn’t set anything up, her characters were not developed properly (the female more so than the male) and her writing style is borderline juvenile. I’ve had teenage students who write better than Loki Renard. I wish I hadn’t wasted time reading this.
Appreciate the honest review. I haven't enjoyed the last few books from this author so I was on the fence about checking this out. It sounds like another dismal release so I'm skipping it.
