I thought I knew everything about my rich, neat-freak doctor of a boss. Until I walked into a fight club and our eyes clashed across the ring…
Holden Salinger is a pediatric oncologist and for the last two years I’ve been cleaning his swanky New York apartment.
I know every intimate detail about him, from his overly large shoe size to his toothpaste tube rolling obsession.
But he doesn’t even know I exist. The man couldn’t pick me out in a police lineup.
Until I get a second job working at a local bar, only to discover there’s a secret back room. One with a boxing ring right in the center. And when I see him vault into it, muscles rippling, I realize he’s not the man I thought he was.
From the moment our gazes clash, the chemistry between us is sizzling. And when he becomes my unexpected savior, my heart takes a tumble I’m not expecting.
Falling for him is such a bad idea. If he finds out who I really am, he’d never want to touch me.
So let’s not tell him, okay?

So in most romance books when the male lead lies to the heroine when he had all the time to tell her the truth but didn't, rightfully the heroine then rejects him and he has to grovel and do a big gesture to get her back so I don't understand why when vice versa the heroine never grovels when she's wrong. The FL lies to the ML (more like an omission) and as she gets to know him she knows the information she has hidden from him would ultimately hurt him, and I completely understand why she would be hesitant after, but if she truly loved him this should've pushed her to tell him even more but nope she doesn't , he eventually finds out from someone else and it all blows up in her face instead of her friends and family trying to help her see her faults in this , they all just blame him instead like WTF!They try to justify her lies by saying "she would have eventually told you" like it makes a difference he was hurt and they were all invalidating his feelings, to tell someone you love them after they have found out you lied to them and you never said it prior is a sign of manipulation and selfishness .She should have been groveling but no he ended up being the one to do that, so it just ruined the entire book for me.
