In the end, they’ll only have each other.

Carolanne Carson has hit rock bottom. Her father has early onset Alzheimer’s, they’re losing their family home, and she’s failed the bar exam. When she discovers her father has inherited a farm, she finds hope for a way out. There’s only one problem: the squatter.
Gorilla shifter Hugh Laramie has sunk all of his heart and soul into turning an old abandoned farm into a haven for his bees. When Carolanne shows up and demands he leave, he’s determined not to give up. She’s his Fate-given mate, and in his daydreams, someday soon they will live on the farm together. It is discouraging, though, that she refers to him as ‘thief.’
As Hugh’s clan feud turns to sabotage and violence, and Carolanne’s luck runs out, these two must somehow learn to rely on each other as their worlds fall apart.
