Silver Fox Grump by Evie Rose
When your dad’s best friend is teaching you to kiss, and says, “I can’t breathe without you.”
After a little solo dance party mistake leaves me with a black eye, I tell everyone at work that I tripped on the stairs.
Then my gorgeous, silver fox boss who I thought I was invisible to, walks in and snarls, “No more dancing on tables, Miss Matthews.”
And I go still. Because the only way he could know that was if he could see what I was doing in my apartment.
Mr Blackwood is twice my age. He’s my dad’s best friend. And he’s watching me. He’s got cameras.
He knows all my secrets.
I need to tempt him. Make him snap.
So I go to his office, and beg him to “teach me”.

Silver Fox Grump, Book 3 of the Grumpy Bosses series, was about 41-year-old Severino "Sev" Blackwood, the third kingpin of London and CEO of the Morden Company (and the youngest of the Blackwood triplets), and 23-year-old Maisie Matthews, a junior manager and the daughter of Sev's BFF, a mafia princess.
Like its two predecessors, this third book in the series had little to no angst, drama, or conflict. The emotional rollercoaster was flat, dull, and a bit boring. The only portion of the novella that was particularly notable was when the FMC's father found out about them, and it was resolved without too much drama or tension.
Again, there was no time for character development or growth, so the book didn't have much of a storyline or plot. This meant the rating was only three stars. Even if all three novellas were combined into one big omnibus, it still would need more grit, backstories, and plot. Without any conflict, it made the story uninteresting and flat.
