If I touch her… my life is ruined.

She’s smart, beautiful, and just my type.
She’s also barely legal.
The very definition of forbidden fruit.
And I don’t just want a bite; I want to devour her.

Now she is standing before me, her gorgeous eyes filled with tears.
She’s in trouble.
She has a stalker, a dangerous one, and he’s getting closer.
She needs my help.
She’s too innocent to know she should be more afraid of me.
I can no longer restrain myself.
I’m about to shatter my entire life, just because of a sick crush.

*This standalone novel is an expanded and re-edited version of the previously published Mr. D

👍it's good just like any other love story so IDK what's with the previous reader's verbal diarrhea was talking about. If a man want a woman he 'courts' her. But when a woman wants a man and does her best to catch his attention it's called 'stalking'? Men do anything they can to have their woman but women can't?

I just thought I'd take a moment and let future readers know that Sick Crush was retitled from the former "Mr. D" book that is no longer in print, so if you look for it on goodreads.com, you'll know it will bring up the old title instead of "Sick Crush". All I can say at the moment about this book called Sick Crush is...wow. Well...no. I can actually say more. It's a fact that I have never, ever read a "romance" novel with this type of storyline...and I've been reading romance books for 45 years. I can't say I enjoyed it, but neither can I say it was bad. It was...unique...and utterly, horrifyingly sick at the same time. Please, pay CLOSE attention to the title, because it will give you a peek into the book before you even open the pages. Don't expect to read a normal romance book. It's not. Neither is it a mafia book. It's not fae, werewolf, monster, or any of the other types of romance novels you'd think of. It's not true BDSM either, though there was a tad of kink. It's not erotica either. Think more along the lines of a psychological thriller and you'll be skimming the edges of this story because it is more that than anything else. And yet...there was romance to be had. There was some spice...perhaps not like you'd expect, but it's there nonetheless. I can't say I'll rate it more than one star, and I most certainly will NOT add it to my Keeper for the Shelves collection. However, it's definitely a book I won't forget any time soon. Perhaps that's why the author wrote it the way she did. Or...perhaps the author had more insight into her characters than most would. I'll let the next reader decide. Just bear in mind...this is one book that you need to keep an open mind the entire time you're reading...and don't stereotype the characters. They may not be what you think..or are they?
