Never do a gangster a favour.

Funny business doing the right thing. Sometimes it can backfire, big time. Like when I rescue a girl from her kidnappers, only to find out she’s the daughter of one of the largest crime bosses in the country. If I thought doing a man like that a favour would work to my advantage… well. I’d be dead wrong.
Or maybe just dead.
Now I’ve made myself the enemy of every other upstart warlord and gang member in the country. I’m not against men fighting over me, per se, but I prefer it when they want to keep me alive to see the ending.
All I desire is to return home and resume my lonely and monotonous existence. Instead, I’m trapped in a mansion with a man I find it increasingly difficult to resist. The arrangement is meant to be for my protection, but right now…?
