They say that life is a beautiful lie and death a painful truth. They’re right.
No one has ever made me feel more alive than the guy who serves as a constant reminder that my clock is ticking.
He is my forbidden, shiny apple.
The striking fallacy to my blunt, raw, truth.
He is also my sister’s ex-boyfriend.
One thing you should know before you judge me;
I saw him first. I craved him first. I loved him first.
Eleven years later, he waltzed into my life, demanding a second chance.
Dean Cole wants to be my bronze horseman. My white knight has finally arrived. Hopefully, he isn’t too late.

Dean
They say the brightest stars burn out the fastest. They’re right.
She sets my mind on fire.
All smart mouth, snarky attitude and a huge heart.
In a world where everything is dull, she shines like fucking Sirius.
Eleven years ago, fate tore us apart.
This time, I dare it to try.
Getting to her is a battlefield, but man, that’s why they call me Ruckus.
Rosie LeBlanc is about to find out how hard I can fight.
And conquering her will be the sweetest victory.

I'm still reading this, I'm only in the beginning but it's genuinely pissing me off (SPOILER WARNING) that dean and Rosie talk shit abt Em, "she fucked me over" vicious blackmailed her and you know it, wtf?? "I liked Em not loved her, I wanted Rosie" dude we literally read you fighting vicious abt Em multiple times, you clearly did care, otherwise you wouldn't have fucked w ur bsf's crush, genuinely what is wrong w u? And Rosie, the audacity she has, ik she said she "should" be jealous of Em but she isn't, but that's clearly not true, to think Em would see her as less even though she took care of her, AND she literally said guys would fling themselves at her in high school, she's jealous that her sister is healthy even though Em is selfless and took care of her, she's jealous she's getting married even though she got proposed to by Darren, she said she was the baby of the family, she's spoiled, but now says she hates being treated like that, yes I understand the parents were hard on her and selfish, but to act like Em was wrong? She's just being unlikable, also they both are wrong dean talking about Em is gross to me, the both of them give me a huge ick, I'll keep reading to see if there are changes in their characters bc they need a massive redemption arc. I also am reading this just to get to Trent's story, idc abt the teacher one, and idc abt this one, but I wanna be open minded

In Vicious, I never bought Dean's "love" for Millie. He never loved her; he's always been hung up on Rosie, that's clear as day.

sex-obssesed, rich, arrogant pricks who are such assholes my eyes rolled to the back of my skull each time their pov came on and the author sure does promise you an "over the top" MC but it's just emotionally unstable, drama-riddled, shallow and possessive men who only show "love" when the fmc they've been taking advantage of from the fucking beginning can't take their bs anymore and they lose access to her, so the half-assed "grovelling" commences which shows us the reader a peek under their maybe-not-so-shallow personality and before you know it's The End.

            LMAOOO solid ⭐/⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I found the male main character so annoying and unlikable I was WISHING the girl finally fucking dies in the end so he doesn't end up happy.

Well, about that.... one book they're together and then she's dead and he's dating someone else. Really skimmed over the whole thing, weirdly enough.

Dean is everything, he's just so perfect but openly messed up you can't help but feel for him. This book shows a powerful message of "life is too fucking short" so you need to live without fear and love without apology. Definitely the most detailed story of the series and shows not only the main characters life but how everyones life worked out for all involved in the Sinners of Sain series.

Enjoyable but not my favourite of the series. Didn't buy into all the choices they made. Hero was a mess

That's one of the most real endings I've read in these kinds of books. I'm glad it was realistic in that sense. It was heartbreaking and real. Loved it

It is okay, but they don't need to change history for God's sake, first love is not always true love.

yeah Dean could have easily fallen for Rosie without taking anything away from her love for Millie. All the same it was a good story. I like the suspense
