Jean
I’m stuck with Mr. Grumpy. Captain super-focused on… who knows what? Out of all the alien dragon warriors, why does he have to be the one to guide me on my mission to fix the life support? The only thing keeping us from roasting alive.

Cekpet
I am the only one taking the threats we face seriously. My brothers may think we have escaped, but I understand the danger the Order still poses. So I focus on our defense until I am ordered to take the human female, Jean, on a mission. We must embark on a treacherous journey across the deadly desert, seeking a crucial piece of the humans’ crashed ship.
As we traverse the unforgiving terrain, the line between my mission and the allure of a life with this female blurs. She causes too many distracting “what ifs”, and it puts the survival of both our races in jeopardy.

It was OK. Author skipped the sex. But, other than her low bar for the ML, I really enjoyed the positive personality of FL. ML was not really, to me, the grouchy, quiet, guy who was actually sweet, caring, and loving inside ... only to her, of course. I think he was supposed to be, but those little things that showed he cared were not impressive. He almost hit her accidentally tossing things behind him, he didn't bother answering very legitimate questions (like: "What's that?" Him, "A deadly sandstorm that will hit in 2 min." Nope, he didn't answer even 1 word), and kept shaking his head at her??? If he truly cared about her, was actually considerate, and respected her, he would have at least given short or even one word answers. Really bad idea making majority of ch's in her POV, considering this guy barely speaks or expresses emotions. Also, this author is the inconsiderate type that wants you to buy and read the previous books to understand or have even the basic info for the story. Some is somewhat explained, none in even a short detailed sentence. Like other than having 2 penises, no other info given, especially because they skipped the sex. I felt the story was more a short one to continue the back story, myself. But, it is basically enjoyable if you don't have any expectations.
