Seriously!! Can’t a girl catch a break here?

One would think I earned a vacation after all the obstacles thrown at us while saving and surviving the seven layers of Hell. But evidently, thinking was the wrong move because the Fates slapped us silly and spit us directly into my final exam.
The Gauntlet: a final test to see if I can survive a week against supernatural creatures in hostile terrain and earn my ability to travel back to Earth.
Certainly, after everything we’ve endured, the Gauntlet should be a piece of cake after Hell, but something is wrong with my powers, and if I’ve learned anything in this world, the Fates don’t use lube when they bend you over.

Now, students are going missing, the Harpies have sharpened their claws, and a new enemy has decided to pop in. Only the Fates know whether this will be the last time Purgatory runs its course, with vengeance stalking every step along the way.
