Skald the Heartless heard stories of the valkyrie warrior who led a band of ruthless vikings through Scotland. The valkyrie, with unmatched beauty, shadowed only by her skill with bow and arrow, has made Skald’s frozen heard beat once again. Freya the Goddess of Death shot down Skald’s Blood Warrior, Magnus the Great. Now, Skald must embark on a journey to bring retribution for his fallen brother, even if it means killing the beautiful shield maiden.

After losing a battle to the most feared viking clan in all of England, Freya is left weakened.
