Rebecca:
I’m just trying to keep my head down, write my dissertation, and graduate.
Dr. Jameson is the best Astrophysicist on campus and I’d be a fool not to work with him.
The big, brooding professor looks more like a professional athlete than a brainiac.
To make things worse he acts like he doesn’t even want me around.
I knew going in that he was a total grump, but his temperament is nearly impossible to deal with.
I consider myself a smart woman, falling for Kellan Jameson makes me feel like a complete fool.

Kellan:
My research is my life, it always has been, and I don’t need any help.
When the dean tells me he’s assigned me a grad student, I try to say no.
But it’s too late. Rebecca will be right by my side for the next few months.
It’d be one thing if she were someone I could ignore, but that’s an impossible task.
With her soft curves, and warm smile I’m a goner from the start.
A distraction like Rebecca could be my downfall, but not allowing myself to have her?
That may prove to be even more detrimental.
