I’m all about tradition and the one that means the most to me is spending two weeks in Vermont, celebrating the holidays. It’s what brings me the most joy. No one understands, probably because I never told anyone why. Unfortunately, that’s not something that can ever change either.

But they say that change is inevitable. Instead of the normal host greeting me warmly when I arrive, a very handsome retired firefighter Kent, answers the door. It seemed like a great way to start my vacation. That is until he delivers some very unexpected news. The B&B is closed.

Where am I supposed to go now? No place holds the same nostalgic feeling to me. Even though Kent makes it clear I can’t stay the weather decides to intervene and neither of us are going anywhere.

If I can’t have the vacation I planned, that doesn’t mean I’m not celebrating. All I need to do is convince Kent that being snowbound isn’t as bad as it seems. When he starts to warm up to me, that’s when things get hot. He might be handsome in his uniform, but he is sexy as hell out of it. Now all I need is a little mistletoe and some Christmas magic and I might actually get what I want for Christmas and it doesn’t need to be wrapped.
