The romance was cute, but a lot of the drama did not make sense. The potential consequences of all their actions seemed way more extreme than they should have been, and later when SPOILER ALERT coach/dad caught them in a position that wasn't even very compromising, they were under threat of being "reported to the university." This would have apparently totally ruined their lives, their standing at the university and put their entire future careers at risk of destruction. Yeah first, even if that was what would happen and it mattered to university administration (a student hockey player and a student on a class assignment interning with social media being in a relationship, whoop-de-doo), the coach is her doting dad. If there was a real risk for her, it would be out of character for this dad to do anything like report them. The author just wanted to cook up drama and didn't have much to work with I guess.
