Jodi, I respect that you like the book, and I would never say you don't have a right to enjoy something. The only point I have with what you said is the 'she knew what she signed up for..." She was devasted and betrayed. Consent to a kink is not consent to tamper with someone's physical and medical rights. The brothers are alpha and domineering and I get that is the theme of the series. I just can't accept that because he violated her rights 'she knew what she was getting into." That's just my thinking.

The series is over-the-top obsessive alpha males and this just went too far. He tampers with her birth control to force her into pregnancy so she 'can't escape him'. Not ok and not anything I want to read. Power dynamic play can be hot but this is flat out abusive. No, thanks.
