Drake and Emmett are human and don't understand about shifters, mates, mate pull, you name it, they don't understand it. Drake and Emmett were out in the woods for what their boss was calling a "team building exercise", hunting for whatever they could find, but specifically a fox. Drake and Emmett do some talking and persuading to keep Lexi in their cabin, safe, sound and with them. Taking turns to keep checking on Lexi during their hunting excursion, Drake and Emmett try to secure a bond with Lexi that they didn't fully understand.
