He hatches a brilliant cleanup plan, which, of course, goes off the rails because—I repeat—chaos is drawn to me.
Instead of fake dating his friend as planned, Decker and I get snapped together and the media thinks we’re a couple. To be honest, I’m not mad about it.
As badly as I want to move on from this fiasco, I’m glad the universe brought Decker into my life. Even if he is closed off. Even if he insists on keeping things professional.
