Posy Briggs, the runt of Green River, turned eighteen years old alone in a dark room, whimpering from the pain of her latest beating.

After her mother’s death six years ago, her father turned her into his punching bag, taking all of his sorrow and rage out on her small self. He isolated her from her pack, turned her older brothers against her, and put her wolf into a coma with an overdose of wolfsbane.
Posy’s sure she won’t live to see her next birthday, yet every morning she rises with the sun and hopes for something to change – and it finally does when Alpha Kendall Briggs’ madness draws the attention of the Werewolf King.

He sends five alphas to investigate. Five alphas who burst into Posy’s life with the most delicious scents she ever imagined…

Loved this book! I liked all the alphas as well as the wonderful protagonist! CHaprter 8 was the best one and I also liked when the alphas turned into wolves. Oh what wonderful alphas I think I'll write a poem: Roses are red, alphas are cool, If you don't read this book, go drown in a pool.

This has lots of possibilities. It got better as it progressed and I'm definitely interested in reading more. The downsides are, the writing is juvenile but what can you except when the oldest character is about 24. How are they such accomplished Alphas when some of them are barely 18. I guess that would appeal to readers of that age range. Which I'm definitely not. Another gripe, I have is this need for the FMC to excel in the abuse Olympics. This trend where the FMC must be the most abused tortured and mistreated of them all is becoming a bit much. While not horrible, it needs some work and a good editor.

I like the concept of the story but for me the characters and the plot is not there. I stopped not without difficulty at chapter 6 - try maybe it's better after
