— TWO FATED COUPLES — A dangerous society of Hunters has targeted their packs for years, armed to drive their kind to extinction for reasons darker and deadlier than any of the wolf clans realize…

SETH & LANA: Before Seth, Lana had never met the leader of a pack, never knew shifters were real. To be fair, they never knew a human like her existed either. Lana’s a latent—descended from shifters, with suppressed abilities that can protect them all from their most savage enemies. More importantly for Seth, the woman’s also his mate. So finding her means she’s just become the Hunters’ most sought-after prey…

DENVER & ESME: He’s the pack’s resident bad boy. But she’s the one who’s off-limits. Together, Esme and Denver shelter and train newly located latents, their work detail mostly spent fighting the volatile chemistry that’s tortured them from the start. Wolves and witches don’t mate. It’s why Denver ruthlessly keeps his distance—until the rules change when the shifters learn Esme is more than just their most powerful witch…

NOTE: Previously two separate books, the stories of these two fated couples have been newly revised with added content, and combined into one intertwined tale.

I don’t get it. The heroine was so strong at resisting him in the beginning. I was like go girl!! But then she wasn’t!!! Well a little background : He fucked so many woman when they were apart. Even after knowing he had a mate and thinking being apart from her was the best solution. So she can move on and get her hearts desire which was a house full of children. But when she tried to move on, he really did not leave her go to another man even when he was with other woman, according to the heroine. So what was point of leaving her go of he does not really allow her to build another relationship that will eventually lead to her having children and having a family? Made no sense.

Make it make sense!!! While she is an outcast and lonely in the years in between their final reunion. He standing in her way of a relationship He get to fuck everything. She stays lonely without the children she wants because of him. And when he wants her back, he does not even have to do much to win her back. she caved because “ he almost died” bla bla bla. Bullshit! 1)They never had a conversation about what he had done and why she was so hurt. It was swept under the carpet, as they say. 2)She forgive and forget like everything he did, all the hurt he cause was oké. Who are they kidding! This author left allot open in the book. Het mother Camilia being one. After all the mother did, the heroine was far to lenient. I find it crazy that she did not take more sever actions against her mother. Anyone with eyes can see that her mother is doing something shady against the shifters. So why is her daughter okay with her mother being able to move around freely, when it’s a risk to the shifters??? Please make it make sense!!! Also that Cooper guy was also something that stayed unfinished.

Book was a sever disappointment. It had potential. For it being revised it is lacking. I felt like it build u up and the n things don’t add up.
