@jam and don't forget that after a few days she goes I love you marry me. Like girl I get he saved you from a fire and you are thankful but so will any half decent human or a fireman. The book was just painful. Apparently being a shitty father and fiance is excused if suddenly you are saved. Being grateful is ok but saying its ok you cheated on me with my best friend six years ago, had a kid with her and hid him from me for six freaking years and now i'm all, I love you ,ill adopt that kid because my bff is dying and decided to tell me of his existence NOW ,just because you were a decent human and saved me from a fire getting a little burnt in the process. The worst part is that the male lead doesn't tell her because his reasoning is she won't be with me after that. Like no shit dude. But hey luck was on his side because the she was a complete and utter push over. I wish she had just died in the fire. That would have been a better ending than the complete nonsense I just read.
I puked. Talk about no self respect. The guy cheats on her with her best friend AND has a fucking kid he visits every weekend. All this behind her back for 6 years. yeesh
