Lucian’s Reign by V.F. Mason
Power. Money. Status.
All the riches this world has to offer belong to me.
Whatever I want, I get.
And those who stand in my way?
They don’t live long enough to tell their tale.
I’m a villain thriving in darkness, who seeks no redemption.
A hunter who sets his sight on an irresistible prey.
There is a monster reigning inside me who covets to stake his claim and drag her to his cave.
A beautiful siren who ends up captured by a possessive beast and locked in his castle.
She will be my wife.
No matter what I have to do in order to achieve it.

I love Lucian's character.. So alpha and protective. You will not regret it if you decide to read this story. Love it so much! So spicy 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's so ✨GOOD✨ , BEAUTIFUL LOVE IT❤️😍
I have many of the author's books and up until now, I have loved them. I think VF Mason is incredibly talented in telling an interesting story that pulls the reader into another world.
I could have easily given 10 stars for this book. I loved Lucian and all his machismo and alpha bad boy sexiness. I liked the entire story and the grammar was flawless but................my one and only complaint, the one that had me forcing myself to finish the book and be done with it was all the internal dialogue. I mean there is A....Lot..Page after page I'd wait to get back to what's going on with Lucian and Esme. When they did come back into the picture, there would only be a couple of exchanges and the story would go back into the internal narration. This went on f.o.r.e.v.e.r... Plus the diaries added to the weight of the loss of character interaction.
I have no problem with some internalization in a story but OH MY... I don't think I've ever read a book that's had this much. It is really is what drove the story. I like the characters to be fluid and conversational. I want to "see" what's happening, not be told.
So, regardless of not liking how the story was revealed, I do remain a fan of the author. 3 stars
