Sebastian McCallister is a lone shifter. As the only “Am Fear Liath Mòr”, which translates from Scottish to ‘Gray Man of Ben Macdui’, he was born on the highest peak of the Cairngorm Mountains. He abandoned his native clan years ago, preferring a lift of peace and seclusion with only his priceless collection of first edition books for company. When he comes across the unconscious body of an abused and battered redhead inside of a truck stop dumpster enclosure, he considers walking away, since human affairs are none of his business.
Tabitha has been beaten and neglected by her Uncle and his family since her parents abandoned her with them at the tender age of twelve. This time, they took her assault too far, and she barely escaped their brutality. Terrified, she finds the enormous man with his half-scarred and half-handsome face comforting.
Sebastian discovers his need to be a Daddy Dom, when his inner beast identifies the scared young woman as his mate. For the first time that she can remember, Tabitha finds herself cherished and cared for, and allows herself to trust again. Or is that a mistake?

really good story, well paced, a little gritty and a few typos but totally recommend.
