Another great book by Erin Trejo! I have really enjoyed reading this Knights of Sin series. This has been one of my faves so far. Seeing how much Kane changes throughout the story is amazing. He was more of the wild man whöre type, pretty much the same as Dax. He was good looking, charming, and had a rough childhood. As for Ivy, she has had it pretty f'n bad as well. Grew up basically rejected & abandoned by her parents. Then abandoned by the man she should've been able to depend on during her 1st fight with cancer & during the loss of her leg. Instead he left her to do it on her own, luckily she runs into Kane whom she's always had a crush on since childhood & he apparently had some old feelings for her as well that flourish into love. They go through so much BS throughout their short relationship but together they manage to pull through everything and get to have a shot at a HEA.
