I hate the cold. Hate. It.
I was not made for snow or ice or freezing winds. I love the sun and the tropics and swimming in the ocean. I love my feet in the hot sand and tan lines. I love my beach house in Florida.
But I’m not in Florida anymore.
I’m trapped on some icy hellscape with no way home…because it’s another planet. In Outer Space.
How did this happen? I have no idea. The last thing I remember was chatting up some hottie in board shorts at the beach bar, the sun’s rays warming my shoulders, sipping on a Mai Tai, living my best damn life, and then my phone glitched out on me, acting all Jumanji: On An Alien Planet You Must Wait…
Sucked me right out of my cushy life and dumped me on an icy beach in nothing but my pearl-white bikini and bohemian-blue maxi dress. Shivering my butt off, I don’t have much time to take in my new surroundings or even wrap my head around my wacky cell phone before I’m confronted by the aliens that inhabit this block of ice.
They’re big and brawny and hairy—and I am terrified. Not at all turned on right now…

It was a cute story. Could of used a chapter with detail on the fight scene but overall it was nice. 4/5 for me.

Please ignore Isabeau Rouillard comment. This is the second, or third time I've seen them comment, about pronouns on these types of books with non human characters.

or maybe you could try to understand why assuming pronouns is wrong. you know i actually started reading paranormal romance thinking they would be more inclusive, since they feature non human and the odd they have the same concept of gender we do seem pretty low. but i was wrong pretty much all of them have gender role and they all assume pronouns.

I liked it, haven't read the series in order, for the most part they're stand-alones. If you don't like possessive, dominant, OTT alien romances. Then don't read this. Its NOT for YOU. Only thing about this I didn't like was the language barrier that was never sloved. This is essentially novella length, so not surprising.

Assuming pronoun is not cool plus the whole she is mine nobody can touch her/ I have to claim her mentally is gross and calling her the king most prized possessions. Is really not cute ok.
