Jordanna
My brother’s best friend was officially off duty… and off-limits.
The wounded soldier had scars that couldn’t be seen, and it was my job to help him heal, not fall for him.
Ransom Parker was as grumpy as he was gorgeous, but that didn’t stop the sparks from flying between us like the Fourth of July.
He could push me away all he wanted, but in his arms was the only place I wanted to be.

Ransom
When I let my best friend drag me to a meeting, I wasn’t sure what to expect. It sure as hell wasn’t feelings for the group therapist… his sister.
I might have been a decorated sniper in the ARMY, but when it came to matters of the heart, I was shooting blind.
Jordnna Bensen deserves better than what I’ve become. Her own brother told me so. Letting her in meant exposing demons I’d rather keep buried.
She’s so damn determined to save me. But I would do anything to keep her safe. Even let her go.

This story hits home. I know quite a few men and women with PTSD. It is a hard mtherfcker to bear and to wade through to live life. Loved this story and how they worked together, not glossing over the details but putting it out there just how much it takes to overcome it each time.
