Banished. After doing everything asked of me and more since my wings glowed for the first time, I’m ejected from my home. All because I asked to be released from my courtesan contract that never should have been legal in the first place. I guess it’s time for me to find my true calling. Could it be working with the smoldering hot baker at Warwick’s Wicked Bakery? I’m not sure, but I know I’m going to find out.

Griffin shifters are supposed to be warriors. Guardians. But not me, I’m happy baking. For the most part. I get a little grouchy when a certain Fae courtesan comes in and messes up my clean space just for a snack. Wren needs to stay on the other side of the counter if he knows what’s good for him. And maybe I keep my eyes down when he comes in so I don’t have to look at his pretty face. Color me surprised when my boss tells me I’ll be working with Wren. Now, how do I keep him out of my way and out of my mind?
Can Wren burn down all of Talon’s walls or will the two dance around each other until the griffin runs away, taking Wren’s heart with him?
