A man with commitment issues. A woman who finally leaves her cheating husband. A small-town Christmas that could right both of their wrongs.

Minnie Ellis is tired of being cheated on, and lied to by her husband. That’s why, on Thanksgiving Day, she packs up and leaves him. For good this time. She goes straight home, to Bluff Harbor where she’ll be surrounded by family and friends to help her heal.
Connor Doyle comes home to find his longtime girlfriend, packing up, ready to leave him. She tells him that six years is too long to wait for a proposal. For him, it just never felt right. He gave her love and loyalty, but that wasn’t enough.
Connor is pretty much the last person Minnie wants to see when she goes home with her tail between her legs. He always made her feel so special, so amazing back in high school. There’s no way he’d take a look at what’s left of her and think that now. But when they run into each other, he looks at her like she’s a goddess. He listens like she’s the most important person in the room. He makes her forget she’s damaged goods and needs time alone time to heal.
Will the magic of the holidays bring these high school friends together, or will Minnie sabotage the first good thing that’s happened to her in twelve years?
