Finished it but wasn’t impressed. One minute Trevor is fat shaming Maggie and then he is falling in love and defending her and trying to redeem himself. The insta love insta best friends didn’t ring true. Trevor’s mood swings didn’t help the story and Maggie’s vulnerability didn’t follow through especially when she talks about her mother and the mother isn’t even part of the story. The bickering between the two was annoying after awhile. Happy ever after was a given. Sorry but wasted my time reading this book.
I am really struggling with this storyline. The first chapters are not really inspiring for the main male lead with Trevor and his sexcapades! The over the top abusive language and fat shaming towards the female lead Maggie is not really making Trevor look any better as a romantic lead and his hard on is his main focus really! So far not impressed but will persist just so the curvy girl gets her rewards let’s hope this story improves.
And it still keeps going!!!! the toxic language and fat shaming continues I really don’t understand why this would be appealing as a romance. Sure Trevor is fitting his attraction but the abusive and heated language is really not adding to the story.
