I might be young, but I know what I want in life: to be a published author.
I always said I’d do whatever it takes, but when my agent sets me up to ghostwrite for a well known “romance” author, I’m hesitant.
Not just because he’s way older than me.
Not just because he’s the biggest jerk I’ve ever met.
Not just because he’s crazy good looking (and he is.)
But because I’ve read his books… all of them.
When he finds out he asks me for my favorite scene.
It’s a dangerous road to go down, these kind of dirty talks, because we’re about
to spend a LOT of time together working alone in his penthouse.
At the rate things are heating up, though, we might not get any work done at all.

His Dirty Author was about 18-year-old Erin Bailey, a high school graduate and author-to-be, and 45-year-old Malik Ellis, a famous romance novelist. Erin was an author-wannabe who had submitted part of her book to an agent. But that man kept telling her she still needed improvement, so he decided to have her ghost-write for an already established author, Malik, someone whom she already admired and had read all of his published works. This was a short, but sweet story that took off fast and didn't stop till the final curtain. There was plenty of angst, drama, and spice to make the biggest critic happy. There was conflict, heartache, and passion. The two main characters were well-developed and mature, even the 18-year-old FMC. They were fun to read about and although there wasn't much backstory for either of them, it didn't matter in this particular story. However, I only gave the book a three-star rating because I wanted an epilogue that showed those who needed comeuppance getting what they deserved, and I wanted to see the success of the two main characters.
