Whitley had compared all men to the boy she loved when she was just a girl. Now that she’s older, no one but him will do, too bad she has no idea where he is. That all changes when he walks back into her life and is ready to be the man she’s been waiting on. Insecurities creep in and she begins to doubt if she can be the woman he deserves.
When the evil that drove him away is back to settle the score, Hunter will do everything that’s necessary to protect His Curvy Woman.

His Curvy Woman was about 21-year-old Whitley "Lee" Grant, a local 9-1-1 operator, and 25-year-old Hunter Stone, a fireman who worked with her father and brother. Having crushed on her brother's 18-year-old best friend from the age of 14, Whitley was crushed when he vanished in the middle of his senior year of high school. Seven years without a word from him, Hunter surprised her one night at the local bar where Whitley, her brother, and some of their friends were grabbing drinks. From the first moment they re-connected, the sparks flew between the two of them, and Hunter made it known that he had returned for her, and only her. There was a lot of angst and drama flowing through this story, with a touch of humor sprinkled throughout the book. With the added touch of suspense, the reader had plenty of things that kept the attention glued to the pages. The two main characters were well-developed and mature, and neither of them had a problem communicating with the other. They both showed plenty of growth as the story progressed, and the steam between them was a nice added touch. This story had so many grammatical and punctuation errors that my jaws hurt from grinding my teeth together. Plus the short, sporadic sentences were just as annoying as the other errors. It was enough of an irritation to deduct a couple of stars, otherwise, it could easily have been given five. However, I only gave it a three-star rating.
