Through loss comes rebirth…

After losing someone precious to them, the trio have grown closer and continued to build a life together. Gabriel has spent the last year under the nature spirit Augarten’s tutelage, working to improve himself and learn as much as he can about magic. Florian has taken an enthusiastic worker under his wing, who he thinks might be the future of the Schöner Himmel, and Solomon has been searching to find how faith fits in an ever-changing world.

But with a new year comes new problems, and the trees in Augarten are getting sick… even the one that regrew Gabriel’s body. When treatment of the tree results in Gabriel being too ill to work, he falls into Florian’s old journals, hoping to gain perspective that will help him decide what to do with Michel’s magic once and for all. Revelations lie in tear-soaked pages, and Gabriel finds himself longing for a home that never was. The nature spirit wants the magic and is growing impatient, but how can Gabriel relinquish it after everything that has been sacrificed?

With the city brought to a standstill, Florian’s business struggling to survive, and Solomon reporting to a hospital to help those suffering, Gabriel scrambles to find an answer that will help everyone without losing what he has worked so hard for.
