Trey sat in the parking lot for a few long minutes, unable to convince himself that it was a good idea to go to the bakery.
Facing the guy that had sparked his sexual awakening, the guy Trey had bullied ruthlessly because he wasn’t ready to face the truth, was a disastrous prospect.
What am I thinking? He might not even be there. Just because he owns the place now, that doesn’t mean he’ll be the one at the meeting. In fact, the last Trey had heard, the Bread Basket had some talented new cake decorator on its staff.
Was it weird that he still kept tabs on what was happening in Parker’s life after all those years?
No.
Maybe.
Shoot, I need to get a grip.
Trey drove the short distance to the bakery, simultaneously hoping that Parker would be there and that he wouldn’t.

Okay, my main problem with the story, apart from the lack of groveling from the bully, is how Parker makes excuses for his bully. Tries to explain away the bully's past actions. I felt it could have used a little groveling from the bully, a little mistrust from Parker and a journey of healing. But that's just me.

No...just no. I wanna vent, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone that might actually like it...
