On the one hand, although I didn't like the story itself, I appreciate the author's courage in writing an incestuous romance, one of the most deeply rooted and outlawed taboos. On the other hand, I tend to question legal intervention that seeks to correct or prevent incestuous relationships. Just as you cannot prevent the union of any couple, despite their terrible genetic background. That is, when both or one of the spouses is a carrier of a genetic defect. Sometimes the couple knows it in advance, sometimes it is discovered later. As far as I know, there are no laws prohibiting intimate relationships or having children even for couples with proven negative genetic load. In this sense, how valid are the prohibitive norms about incest in a modern society? How prevalent are they really to threaten genetic diversity and renewal❓

The author smashed it in bringing the characters and their struggles in stark light and have the readers supporting for the brother and sister before they even know it. One of the best novels of this author even though its incest.
They had their happy ending just a complicated one. I loved the book and it's playlist.
Despite being about brother and sister romance the author presented the characters and their struggles and flaws amazingly. Love the book
