Bear shifter, Grant Cooper’s bear has been on edge. He isn’t sure if it’s because the coyote pack hasn’t retaliated or if it’s the fact that two of his best friends have found their true mates. To blow off some steam, he decides to head out for the night where he meets a red-haired vixen, Violet. Violet Pearce, has been away from the Canyon Hollow Clan for years. Her overprotective brother, Ford, is their Alpha.

When she gets a job back at home, she is worried how things will be with Ford, especially after them not speaking to each other for the last couple of years. Sparks fly between Grant and Violet, but neither of them realizes who the other person is, until after a steamy night together. When Ford asks Grant to take Lincoln’s place as Beta of the clan, things get more complicated. Can Grant have both Violet and the respect of the clan?
