I read this book last year, among LOG' series this book is one of the tops for me. Killian and Glyndon were a couple who complemented each other. Killian was a sassy and delusional character. I also liked Glyndon's personal growth. Their story was well organized through the pages. The book as a whole was very interesting and you dont get bored (There were funny scenes as well). I give this a 9/10, just because I would have loved to know more about them as a couple than the epilogue suggested. And just a heads up: If you felt triggered with this book please dont keep reading Rina Kents books.
Well... initially it was too wordy but halfway it got better... its interesting story but like other readers have said, the age being young, ie, in this novel, killian just being 19, and crrating hovac doesnt seemed right.. if the character are over 25 and more, perhaps... I get that its uni life but still can be better...
Im even curious if Killian is going to finish his medical degree 😆
In other mafia stories, anyone who touched powerful families would be killed so fast, and im amazed in this series setting, parents dont get involved 😅😆

This book needs a better trigger warning ⚠️. The "Non-con" at the beginning for explicit r*pe is not enough.

I didn't read the whole book,I clicked and opened only Levi and Astrid's name and chapter 37, Where,Jonathan King comfort Glyndon. A proud tears mix with smile(I forgot which chapter,because I keep on pressing next2 until I saw names like Ava and Eli.) How Ava's looked at Eli, just like her parents back then, like Silver always said 'I hate you to Cole' while it's actually the opposite ❤️❤️ And how Eli nonchalantly looked at Ava, goodness!! He's definitely darker version of Aiden to Elsa back then...❤️❤️ But this Aiden, Jr has Steel blood in him, so there's tenderness also deep inside him. I'm triggered to see how Rina Kent bring the best of him.
I shed tears of joy and happiness reading how beautiful Astrid and Levi's marriage. Again, I also laugh, that in whatever book it is, my beloved character, Aiden King always mentioned.❤️

I only read the part of Astrid and Levy, but I think it's a good story.
I need help to find a book ! It is 2 books The fist one is about a FMC who is a prostitute with one client but this cliente took her necklace so she runs away and look for his enemy (who is his cousin)in his yacht in France and offer him her body in exchange of him get her necklace back! This is book one and I really need to find this book to read book two 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 And the book one end o cliffhanger the scene is they are one a party at the enemy’s yacht and his cousin goes to talk to the FMC and shows the letter that she writhe(the enemy sent the letter to him to show she is in love him him) and they fight. She wants to go back to her client

I will read anything Rina Kent. My fav author. I like the dynamic between her main characters. but it would be great for her to focus a little on her plot twists. Add something different. give us something to distinguish between her books. Sometimes it feels like reading about the same couple but just with different lives. kinda repetitive.
But I still can't say I didn't like this book. I enjoyed learning about the rest of the characters. There were funny scenes in the book.
One thing I did not get was the fact that Killian was a true psychopath, yet he CARED. About his family, Glyndon, his cousins, and his aunt. He did most of the things that go against the very nature of an unfeeling, cold-hearted, psychopath. I didn't know how to reconcile with that.
Tbh I can't remember the difference now but if you go on reddit u would definitely see post talking about this, but there are two types of clinical 'psychopath' one is where they aren't incapable of emotion it's just in order for them to feel emotions someone needs to do something very touching just like mia and her telling kill she loves him despite his differences, and that makes them do stuff that are extreme in order for them to feel emotions such as hurt others, annoy others, etc. Just like lan, eli and kill. and the other type is the actual psycho where they actually are unfeeling and it's a very very rare thing for them to develop feeling of love or bonds and they actually aim to hurt rather than their aim being just to feel the emotions that they lack. I hope this makes sense 😅

I'm going to be honest, there's nothing terrible about her writing but, after checking out a few college or high school bully books now, it feels like it's all the same thing over and over. If you know of a book in this genre that is completely new and original, feel free to drop it as a comment.
I haven't followed this author, I only check her out here and there, so this is only an observer's take but she seems to be running out of steam, like re-writing the same book again and again.
I'm a new Rina Kent-san fan, but I kind of realized that,too. You're right 👍🏻 But the continuation of the horsemen children with the reaction of their parents makes Rina Kent-san books interesting. And most of all, At least she created this books. Not writing her stories similar to other writer.I found a Netflix hits movie the Male leading role is very,very, very similar to Rina Kent-san book -The possessiveness of Aiden King -using tools and kidnapping like Creighton King -personality mix of the horsemen. - Mafia Family like Jeremy and Annika's father. - Even the sex styles are 99% the same with the horsemen. But that author only make 1 difference, the female lead role is unfaithful,and like to change partner. She was married to the male leading role but finally with the ending of the 3rd book, it showed that all that she loved from him is sex only. And the funny thing. The male lead role doesn't want to tattoo himself, he said it's only for criminals, but🤭🤭The male actor of the main role have tattoos all over his body. 😅🤣 As for the actress, she's fine. But the actor... he got too many "mysterious"issues. Claimed to be divorced, but kind of not a real divorce🤭 And making songs for his children because he misses them. My word ! Sacrificing his wife and children to gain fame is totally unacceptable. Rina Kent-san and Julia Quinn-san made books which still contain pure love, family and honesty. Though I have to say the couples that wins my heart are Rina Kent's ~ Aiden King and Elsa Steele Julian Quinn's ~ The Duke and Duchess of Hastings(Simon and Daphne)
at this point , i feel like her writing and characters have become repetitive. i used to be a huge rina kent fan , but this book was disappointing. its eerily similar to the original deviant king series. there is no real drama or some spark that would put you to the edge of your seats anymore like she used to write. was it a bad story? no could she have done better ? did i expect something up to the hype shes been giving? yes. borderline is it didn't live up to the hype , she has been teasing for months.
