Shailene, with her quick wit and relentless flirting, was unlike any woman I’d ever encountered, and the sizzling, can’t-keep-our-hands-off-each-other attraction made a tough job even more tougher.
Our job became even more difficult, and more dangerous, when an arsonist began ripping through our city. Shailene was the only one who had caught a glance of the black-suited menace and things were heating up, literally.
