The holidays have never looked better.

After being suspended days before Christmas, I pack my bags and get out of Dodge. I plan to spend the holidays with my family in Finland, stuffing my face with my mom’s cooking until I can’t move.
What I don’t expect is the alluring woman who sits next to me on the plane. She has both beauty and brains. And when she tells me she doesn’t watch hockey, I could cry from happiness; I don’t need another puck bunny hopping around.
What am I supposed to do when I volunteer to be her Finnish tour guide for the next ten days? I know that if I’m around her too much, it’ll never be enough.

Being single during the holidays for the first time in years, I’m more than ready for the annual family winter vacation. But after a series of unfortunate events, I’m stuck in a foreign country alone.
My only saving grace is the hockey hunk, whom I met on my way to snowy Helsinki. It must be his smile or how my name sounds rolling off his tongue, but I can’t say no when he offers me a place to stay and a seat at his family’s Christmas celebrations.

Why do I feel like we’re more than two strangers spending the holidays together? I just don’t know if my heart is ready for more disappointment.
