I'm blown away by this book. Maybe because the themes resonate with me. The struggle that Bastian has with not wanting to have a child in light of being a carrier of a genetic disease, the stubbornness of two overly independent individuals who refuse to back down for fear of getting hurt, the poor timing they've always had. All these pale in comparison to the love they have for each other. Well constructed book, love the premise, the themes and the overall read of the book! Thought-provoking, but in the most light hearted manner. One of the best reads in recent months! Highly recommended! 5*!
