From the gutter to the stars…
Dance is in my blood.
It’s what keeps me sane, out of trouble. It used to keep them out of trouble too.
A group of boys I grew up with.
Xeno, York, Zayn and Dax.
We were a crew once and we ruled the clubs.
Separate we were insanely good, together we were unbeatable. F*&ing on fire.
I was their girl and they were my Breakers.
Until they did something they promised they never would; break my heart.
We were seventeen when they left me.
You see, for kids like us, dance was all we had.
Growing up in a rundown housing estate in London with no prospects can make you view the world differently.
It can make you choose the wrong path.
I chose dance, and they chose crime.
Three years later I’ve won a scholarship to Stardom Academy. I try to forget my past.
But how can I do that when the four boys who hurt me are back?
And this time they’re following in my footsteps and joining the academy too.

(((*SPOILER ALERT!!)))

I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE this book. I love Pen and her guys. The tension in the room is CRAZY. Even though they aren't getting along right now I can see how they will be in the future. One of the things I am sad about this book though is that on her 17th birthday the guys didn't even try to chase or ask her why she "did what she did." It's like they didn't have any history together- that they haven't gone through a lot of things together (if that makes sense?) Personally one of the things Bea Paige should have done was make it so Pen wasn't a virgin especially when all of the guys where out with other girls. It's probably just me, but I really think Pen shouldn't have been that "innocent" especially when they had the pickle conversation (it was definitely funny though.) I can't wait until book 2!!!!

TO PARKER ISLES: This was actually a really good book! If you can’t deal with recede harems then why read the damn thing? Sometimes there’s more than 1 Prince Charming. And if the girl chooses one guy in the reverse harem books your reading then it’s not a reverse harem at all.and if you can’t comprehend how she loves all of them then you need to open your mind to it. And Xeno only said what he said so nobody got hurt. He liked her to! I liked the flash backs cause they really showed depth to the story. The girl wasn’t being bitchy. Actually read the Damn book and stop twisting things. The MC did not acknowledge that she only loved them cause she lacked attention. She loved them because each one of them made her feel happy and loved! She had her little sister who loved her to.its not unhealthy your just close minded and she isn’t obsessed with them. It’s like when you see your ex again. You might still have feeling. And she was FORCED to dump them. Plus they haven’t lost feelings for her either. The problem you had while reading this book was that you just wanted it to be a straight normal relationship. There’s a reason it’s called a reverse HAREM.and she did go through the first boyfriend phase with Zan.The guys all agree to draw her and most people get scared of dying a friendship when dating your best friends Also the girl wasn’t rude. The secretary had made a typo and was telling the girl she didn’t care that she had the letter from the school that showed she was supposed to be auditioning. Mind you this was the girls dream school it was a way for her to help her sister and live a better life without being in a gang. And lastly she couldn’t have made a deal to kill the brother because he was important to the gang and was one of the main reasons the gangs work was booming. So it wouldn’t have made sense for the Jett to agree to that. Read ur with a open mind and you’ll find out all your reasons are bull. Also re read everything your talking about cause your just twisting it into something your want to hate the book for. All of your reasons are fake. Go re read the book . And if you knew it was gonna annoy you then when bother to read it at all??

I can't believe I kept reading a book I knew was going to annoy me. I'm fine with reverse harems where a girl gets around then chooses the one she actually loves to be in an a relationship. I really can't comprehend how she's in love with all four of them. I understand why she could possibly be in love with one of them, but the others not so much. I'm with Xeno's first reaction to this BS, date one of them and leave the crew or be platonic friends and stay.

The flashbacks were kind of annoying as they happened so frequently and were mainly used as filler. Like the author wasted the opportunity to show why the MC loves them each individually. Instead we're stuck with her being bitchy because the guys date and fuck other girls while she's horny after all of them. The MC acknowledged the main reason as to why she's lusting after all of them/is attention starved is because she lacks love at home. It's not love it's: lust, possessiveness, and obsession. It's unhealthy. Also, the author often gives us moments from the past to bring it up in the present as a means to show how well the guys know her and still love her. Except the guys are mixed up; don't know if that was an intentional continuity error or not!

I'm tired of the not like the others girls/promiscuous but virtuous virgin troupe. Like how do you want to fuck all four of your friends out of nowhere and at the same time? At least give her a first boyfriend where she goes through the motions of a relationship with one person and it not being enough. Or have her get slightly physical with each of them (one at a time) but the guys say they don't want to mess up the friendship/crew and break it up. Then she approaches all of them being together.

The MC is bitchy and rude in the present, like you couldn't have asked the secretary (?) if your audition was filed under your legal first name and not your stupid nickname? My God, she literally bitches over nothing. Why can't we have a smarter/polite but strong MC? And why the fuck didn't she cut another deal with Jeb? She could have said that she had an opportunity to return his favor! They could have staged a plan to kill off her creepy ass brother! Literally, she could act as a double agent feeding information provided by Jeb to her brother. They'd build up his trust before setting an ambush to assassinate him! Kill that incestuous bitch!!!
