Selene has always had three great passions: men, food… and Gone With the Wind. Still the glamourous models seems to always be starving for both nourishment and affection. Weary of the petty world of high fashion, she heads to New Orleans for one last shoot befor she chucks it all and begins a whole new life. But she doesn’t realize that, thanks to an errant voodoo spell, her new life will happen 150 years in the past….and in the company of a dark and brooding gentleman who could give Rhett Butler a run for his money!

An alarmingly handsome Southern planter, James Baptiste may not have Rhett’s cavalier spirit-and his plantation is certainly no Tara! But it’s clear as crystal that this virile Creole is a lover worth giving a damn about. And with God as her witness, Selene vows she will never go hungry for this man again!

one of the things i dont like that authors keep doing is that they keep referencing other works in their own books . like dude what if your reader never read it or heard of it , your reference will make no sense and makes the book seem cheap and amateur . anyways , if you've never seen or read gone with the wind this book will either a) make you want to see it or, b) never go in a vicinity around it because the story has clearly been distorted in this book. gone with the wind is a 3 hour long classic movie that is going to give you the feels . back to this book , was the idea and plot original ? nope. were the characters amazing? nope . would i recommend this book to be read? well frankly my dear that depends your mood and if you want a 'i already know how this is going to end , but i need comfort right now' book , then yes go for it.
