This was...okay. Not really the best book I've read, but not the worst either. The age gap wasn't a problem, but the fact the MMC was such a wimp was. He couldn't stand up for what he wanted, always ran when the going got tough, and nearly lost what meant the most to him. The FMC was a bit crass, to be honest. Oh, she knew what she wanted and pursued it. But she was a bit OTT in her determination to have him, and that was not attractive. She was overly dominant, yet she still let others push her buttons, even if she didn't cave to them The storyline was a bit off, and there were plot lines that were started and then abandoned, so there was a good deal that was left just hanging and unfinished. With that in mind, the book didn't deserve more than a two-and-a-half-star rating, rounded up to three because...well 2 1/2 isn't an option.
