Sophia Adams has lived her whole life sheltered from the world. Her parents are workaholics, she goes to an all-girls school, and isn’t allowed outside the boundaries that have been set for her. So when she secretly gets a passport and packs a bag the day it arrives, she thinks all of her dreams are finally coming true. That is, until the airport security pulls her out of line and she discovers that maybe she’s more innocent than she thought.

Lincoln Gray owns everything he could ever want. And that includes the dark-haired beauty he catches sight of. One look at Sophia and he’s making sure she’s the carry-on he’s taking to his next stop. She’s too naive to travel the world alone, and luckily for her, he’s the one to protect her. He’s never been told no, and it’s not about to start now. How can a woman resist being given all she’s dreamed of?

A very quick, steaming HOT novella. It went so fast that it was a tad unrealistic. FMC, not long turned 18, fresh from an all-girls school, very unworldly, quietly slipped away from home and her self-absorbed parents (who were only ever mentioned, albeit very briefly, in the first chapter. The MMC, a very wealthy man, never bothered to ask the FMC about her parents, and never did a background check on her or her family. This was inconsistent with the OTT-controlling man he was portrayed as throughout the rest of the novella. It just didn't ring true.) with nothing more than a newly purchased passport and a small backpack. Her intentions were to travel the world and experience things that she had been shielded and kept from all her life. Side Note: The book's title didn't fit the story. There was no "risk" of flight from either of the main characters, so one has to wonder why the book should be considered a "flight risk". It was a lame, misnomer for the novella. She arrived at the airport, chose a random destination, and got in line for a security check...only to be immediately escorted away by security to a room where she was told to wait. She tried to figure out what went wrong but, nothing came to mind. Soon, the door opened, but it wasn't a security guard. It was a total stranger...a handsome one, who took immediate charge of her and, after a very brief introduction (she didn't recognize his name, even though he was supposed to be known around the world just by the mere mention of who he was...or by a photo. But, again, that was due to her having been so sheltered). This was where it got even more unrealistic. The MMC gave her two options: travel with him to Paris...or stay there. She chose Paris and he took her by the hand and led her to his private airplane, and from there, they flew to Paris. During takeoff, the FMC started to have a panic attack, only just then realizing she was afraid to fly, so the MMC distracted her by fingering her to an O. Then, during the flight, he held her in his lap while she slept...and he played with her private area to the point he penetrated her a few inches in order to get himself off. After arriving at their destination, he took her to a hotel where they consummated their relationship. At no point in the novella were the words "I love you" ever spoken. All that was ever said was that she belonged to him, he belonged to her, etc. Just possessiveness...no love, although he did tell her she was his goddess, his possession, no one else would ever have her, and that he would always take care of her. It just lacked believability. There was never any mention of concerned parents, no one thought to search for her or worried about her safety or whereabouts. It was as if they never existed apart from a "hit-and-run" nod in the first chapter. The MMC's obsession with the FMC happened from a quick glance across the airport, then he all but ran to the security room and located her on the cameras. Then he had her isolated from the world, only to dominate her for the rest of the novella. It was all just so implausible that it smacked of something a teenager might write from their wildest imagination. It didn't merit more than a 1.5-star rating, rounded up to two.

            4stars out of 5!

"Flight Risk" are a short Novella-shorter than most of Alexa Riley`s works-and yeah, ME really like it!

Lincoln Gray has to be a HELL of a HOT arrogant hero of AR`s. He decides to have the innocent Sophia Adams the second he sees her in the airport-a quick and dirty novella...and totally satisfying.
