I skimmed the first book and then managed a few chapters of this, just to see if it improved. It did not. The characters are contrived, the plot thin and dragged out to fill out a few chapters. The fmc was so petulant and whiny I felt insulted reading her dialogue and inner monologue.
Someone give me a fireball to burn this book from my memory.
