When raiders steal Corrin and the other village women away from their homes, the future looks grim.

None of them expect an ancient race of warriors called the Orki to murder the raiders and take the women for their own.
Only Corrin would have the poor fortune to be kidnapped twice in one day.
Now, the leader of the brutish aliens has chosen her to be his ‘redress’, whatever that means.

With Corrin’s cursed luck, it can’t be anything good.
She should be angry. She should be scared. Instead, what Corrin starts to feel for the Orki is something else entirely.
Something dangerous and forbidden.
Could this infuriating male be the thing that finally changes Corrin’s luck for the better?

Oh! Very sorry! It's not "my own writing stile"!!! It´s "writing style of its own"!!!

I liked the story, it has a different flavor and reflects my own writing style. The world created in this story borders between absurd, barbaric, primitive and science fiction. I suspect that the criticism regarding an "abrupt" ending is actually due to the fact that these readers felt "hooked" to the protagonists. I understand the disappointment of not participating in the subsequent events, in everything that the skillful writer did not tell, but did hint at: fertilization, pregnancy, multiple children, a full nest and a new home growing... In other words, all of that that many of us want at the end of a fairy tale: they lived happily and ate partridges, etc. I would like too, but as it is, it's also fine. For me it has been a clear and sufficient "happy ending". In my opinion, there is nothing more boring than a story about the happy life of a couple. I even liked that the author stopped the story at the conclusion of the dramatic and violent turn that the female protagonist experienced, being kidnapped, forced, humiliated and conquered. But she was well matched and her luck changed for the better for the first time in the life of this simple peasant girl. So I'm not complaining, because each of the protagonists obtained what was most important to them, and this means a happy ending to the story.

Not bad but I wish there was more fight with the female against the male. Felt she gave in and up to quickly. Disappointed with an ending. It just stopped.

Its 12 chapters. Interesting book, very different. Lacks a polished and refined writing, but gets the story across for the most part. Abrupt ending that was well timed, some parts and chapters seem long winded. Standalone, no cheating, with a HEA. Peronsally thought the relationship left a lot to be desire, wasn't the worst I've read tho.

Book seems indeed rushed and so did the ending.

Nice book, correctly write down. Background a bit confused and timeline as well. Trama is fine. Do not like the lack of communication between the two main characters. The storyline seems a bit rush and the final incompleted.
