Even a savior sometimes needs a champion.

Dulce had gained a reputation as a positive, cheerful seer during the decline of one of the great magical nations. Two years after the death of her champion and best friend, she has become a completely different person who wishes only for the end so that the suffering will stop.
Draven is perhaps the least likely champion to remind Dulce of how wonderful life can be, but that is the task presented to him. Never much for talking, he finds himself in a strange predicament that forces him to finally speak the thoughts he has always kept to himself.
Is there anything of Dulce’s past self still waiting for a rescue? Can someone who has always shied away from the spotlight really bring her back to herself? Or was this one more ill-conceived plot to restore the once optimistic Dulce?
