I’m trying to bring in more people and businesses to Tall Pine, Montana. Our town deserves so much more than one tree and one tavern.
It’s not my fault the pub I’m pushing to open will be in direct competition with Dawson’s tavern. If he’s so worried, he needs to up his game.
The cowboy claims to have plenty of tricks up his sleeve, so when I give in to his challenge of playing a game of poker and I lose… big… I can’t help but feel like I played right into his hand.
I’ve been here before. There was a reason I broke up with him so long ago, but I can’t, for the life of me, remember what it was.

He’s looking at me… What was I saying? Oh, yeah, I don’t do second chances, especially not when the same man has only gotten more delicious.
