The Heathen: Religious Trauma. Revenge. Destruction.

My father, the prophet, preaches about the blood of Christ, but it’s a different blood that coats his hands.
Now that I’m no longer the broken girl on her knees praying for salvation, I’m on a path of vengeance against him and the rest of our revolting line.
They were once my family. Now they are my enemies.
And the men, they underestimate women.
Underestimate me.
But I am death. Forged by my father and his sins.
Their deaths, my resurrection.
Their destruction, my rebirth.
Because the only way for me to live is for all of them to die.

We watch as she ends lives.

Waiting for the perfect time to claim what’s ours, our Heathen, our sanctuary,
Our little killer who will burn the world around her.
And if she’s not careful, she will succumb to the flames that follow her.
But we will save her.
And she will learn once again to…
Obey.
Worship.
And serve.
But only us. Only ever us.
