Being the best pâtissier in Paris doesn’t come easily. I’ve worked day and night in order to make The Sweet Spot into what is today: the best.
But with that comes a reputation for being ruthless in the kitchen. I expect perfection from anyone who enters.
When my publicist suggested I teach an exclusive class, I jumped at the chance, ready to give them a healthy dose of reality before sending them packing.
Or at least that was the plan…until Charlotte came strolling into my kitchen, thawing my stone-cold heart and exposing my gooey center. I wanted to break her and send her back to the States with her tail between her legs, but instead, she sent my carefully-constructed walls tumbling to the ground.
I know nothing worth having in life ever comes easily…and Charlotte is a challenge I more than want to conquer.
